Utah's Unemployment Rate

Employment rates can be one of the best indicators of an economy’s health. In addition creating and retaining jobs is one of the primary goals of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Utah state agency activities funded by Recovery Act dollars have created and retained 4106 full-time equivalent positions during the reporting period February 17th, 2009 to September 30th, 2009 and 3,448 full-time equivalent positions during the quarter ending December 31st, 2009.
